This is a lovely fragrance, a floral in some ways but a bit more musky and mysterious. It smells great and seemed to be lasting on me, though my mother complains it doesn't last on her. I got compliments from a few people when I wore it. I recommend layering it with the shower gel and lotion for maximum potency, of course, if you're one of those that fragrance doesn't last on.
But although I liked it, I found that it bothered my sinuses and was just too strong. I hate to make comments like this for fear I might offend someone, but I think it's a fragrance for a more mature women. On younger, trendy women, it just seems out of place. It's too complex and heavy a fragrance for year-round usage regardless (spring and summer wearing is out, if you'll be outdoors), and I believe it's too adult a scent on the very young. I can't say I'm attracted to using it any longer, past the one bottle I got. It's better for my mom, who's in her mid-fifties. Again, not trying to offend anyone. But be aware this is a pretty strong scent that may make other people sneeze or having an asthma attack. I could not wear it to my office, which is a cubicle setting, without making someone sneeze. That is NOT how I want people to think of me- as the lady with too-strong perfume on. So, please, wear this with some caution if you're going to be close to others. It's Lancome's nicest fragrance, IMHO, and I think it's a nice gift for moms, older aunts or grandmothers. -- A wonderful fragrance, but a bit too strong
I've smelled toilette water before and this didn't even come close. May have set too long and was not longer any good. Go to your local store to make sure you're getting the real thing. I love this fragrance, so I just added more money and went to a store that had a Lancome dept. Payed a little more, but I sure smell good. -- You get what you pay for
I have been using Tresor for more years than I can recall. When I used it the first time, so many people complimented me on how good I smelled. That is still happening. I also like the fact that I cannot smell the scent on myself. I can't stand it when I feel a perfume overpowers me. I purchased this from Amazon this time because they had the best price. -- Get compliments galore with this scent
